In summer many Japanese people enjoy having a BBQ party at their yard these days. Of course, there are many kinds of BBQ style depends on the families or countries. Yakitori is one of the Japanese familiar foods and there are many Yakitori restaurants in Japan. Japanese style grilled chicken skewers

How to grill Yakitori

At the BBQ party of course the ingredients are grilled over the charcoal but we put them on the wire netting which is also sold at 100 yen shop in Japan. Then you can easily to turn it over and you can grill other ingredients like onigiri on the net!!

Several kinds of Yakitori

You can prepare many kinds of Yakitori. Cover the tomatoes with bacon on a skewer. It’s very juicy and delicious. You don’t need any seasoning because the bacon is already salty! Be careful the tomato is very hot after grill and the inside juice will pop out when you bite it!

There is a shiso in Japan. It’s a kind of herb and it’s very refreshing taste. Cover the shiso with beef on a skewer. It’s not really greasy even it’s beef thanks to the shiso. Shiso is very common in Japanese food.
