Chicken ramen by Nissin is a world’s first instant noodle. Ready to eat just 3 mintes after pouring hot water or boiling it in a hot water for just 1 minute.
Nissin launched Chicken ramen in August of 1958. It has been improving and there is an egg pocket on the noodle now! We often eat this noodle with egg that is put on the noodle before pouring hot water so that the egg will get slightly boiled after pouring hot water. However the egg slides down from the hard fried noodle. To prevent the annoying, a hollow on the noodle is developed. Thanks to the hollow, the egg doesn’t fall down from the top of the noodle.
As you have already noticed, this chicken ramen doesn’t have any season packet. The noodle has already seasoned so that you need just hot water and egg if you want.
Chicken ramen in a mug
There are several kinds of chicken ramens like small size, spicy flavor and the type of no water. I show you a size of mug cup here.
It’s very small and you can eat it like a miso soup. It’s measly for one meal but it’s just the right amout for a side dish. I often cook it for breakfast.
Just put the noodle in the small cup and pour hot water. It’s good for the cold morning. It tastes soy sauce and chicken broth. I cook also a rice ball with Chicken ramen in a mug.
Mix hot water and the noodle for ready to eat.
