I found a attractive confection at the convenience store Familymart in Japan. Recently the convenience sweetsコンビニスイーツ is very popular here. It was difficult to go out to drink alcohol at the restaurant because of the COVID-19 until recently so we need to stay home and need look for a something fun instead of going out. So that many Japanese people have been interested in the convenience sweets, I guess.
I have been wanted to eat this sweet “Butter Biscuit” by Familymart. It’s put butter cream between soft cookies, the butter cream is almost cheese cream and tastes a little bit butter but it neither be soft nor be hard, it’s like a hard cream..the cream is very rich…mmm. It tastes a lemon a little, so it’s highly meltable in your mouth. The biscuit is the soft cookie and smells a lot of butter. That is to say this confection is very delicious even if it’s a convenience sweet not a pastry shop sweet.
I’m afraid to say the content is smaller than I expected.
Oh my goodness! I’m not good at taking a picture!! It’s difficult to find out it’s small or not.. I’m sorry…It’s about six centimeters across in diameter. You can eat it just 3 bites if you want but this confection has 218kcal…The sweets are like a nutrition of our mental.
There are so many kinds of butter in fashion and there is a similar sweets “Marusei Butter Sandマルセイバターサンド” in Japan.
This butter sand tastes so much butter and some raisons are in the butter so that the mouthfeel of this sweet is so fun. The butter tastes just about butter and the biscuits are more hard than the first one. I love this confection. It’s a local sweets in Hokkaido 北海道. You can frost this butter sand and you can eat it like an ice-cream.
I love sweets so much that I don’t eat any meal! I cook healthy food and eat them though. I often eat some sweets with my kids when they come back home from school and I like that time because they told me about what happened at school that day with good sweets.
When do you eat some confection and where do you buy them in your country? Which kind of sweets can you buy in a convenience store in your country? I’d like to taste the local sweets around the world!
See you next time!
