Osyamanbe is located in Hokkaido where is a big island located in north of Japan. There are many snows and great natures. It’s very suburb area so that you can enjoy authentic local food there! The most famous food of Osyamanbe is “Fluffy crab on rice”! We call it “Kani meshi” in Japanese.

Have you ever had fluffy crab meat? It’s amazing! I share a very popular restaurant in Hokkaido. It’s Kanaya.
They dry roast crab meats for a long time so that the aroma and flavor of crab are brought out more and more. In addition, the crab meat becomes very fluffy! The fluffy crab meat, shiitake mushroom and shredded egg beautifully on hot vinegar rice. The shiitake mushroom is also tasty!
There is also a fluffy crab meat on fried rice! It’s savory and a lot of crab essence! Just the fried rice is very delicious, moreover, many fluffy crab meats on it! It must be delicious!! Some pickled gingers are served with the fried rice as well, the gingers go well with the crab meat.
There is also noodle at Kanaya. The noodle is called “Champon” that is a noodle with soup topped with a variety of ingredients such as vegetable and seafood. The soup is very rich and thick consistency.

However, it’s quite difficult to visit there because Osyamanbe is very far from main city in Hokkaido and the airport. If you’d like to try it, you can buy some online in Japan. It’s worth trying it once! But the noodle and fried rice is only served at Kanaya restaurant in Osyamanbe!
