Ramen is extremely famous these days in Japan. You must wait for a long time in line to eat a famous ramen. I share one of the famous ramen restaurants from Osaka.
Spicy Sour Ramen
There are several kinds of ramen, but this is a spicy and sour ramen. It looks like Suan La Tang from Chinese food but it’s not.

The noodles are little thick and straight. They are so chewy. The noodles cover very well with the soup! The soup is very thick and rich. Some fluffy omelets are one of the ingredients of the soup. The most notable point is the texture and flavor. It’s extremely hot for Japanese who are not good at so much spicy foods like Chinese people or Korean people. And it tastes vinegar so that it’s sour! Furthermore, the soup is very thick, of course it’s hot. The spicy tastes keep going in your mouth. However, the spicy flavor is elegant and great. You can eat them all easily. The raw egg on top is important! The egg makes the soup creamy and delicious!! Japanese people love raw egg and the Japanese raw eggs are hygienic. It’s relieved to try eating!

Pork for ramen rice bowl with a raw egg
The spicy sour ramen goes great with rice so much! But don’t miss a pork rice bowl! The grilled pork smells very smoky and soft! It’s like a barbeque pork in rice. After break a raw egg by the chopsticks, the egg yolk comes down and covers the grilled pork. It’s so amazing and beautiful!!

Tsuji
The Spicy and Sour Ramen and the pork rice bowl is from Tsuji. It’s located in the center of Osaka. It’s very famous and opens from 11:30. I went there around 11:20 on weekdays but there are already 12 people in line. So many people came to Tsuji on the day after me and they were waiting for a long long time to eat the ramen there. If you visit on weekend, you need to go there earlier, otherwise you have to wait more than one hour.
