KIRIN BEER
There are so many sorts of beer in Japan, but most of all is made for Japanese favorite taste. So, you might find the differences between your country’s beer and Japanese one. It’s so fun to compare the tastes. However, Japanese beers have each peculiarity of course. The Japanese four big beer companies are ASAHI, KIRIN, SUNTORY and SAPPORO. I’m going to share KIRIN BEER here.
One of the KIRIN beers is KIRIN ICHIBAN SHIBORI 一番搾り. It’s used only first wort. KIRIN has own method for filtering wort. They use only first wort running out for the first time in filtering wort. In addition, they filter the wort in low temperature so that it reduces the bitterness of beer. KIRIN Ichiban Shibori great go well with any foods!
Which beer the best does go well with sushi?
Limited beer from KIRIN
KIRIN has launched a limited beer in November 2024. They sell the limited beer every year. So why are they limited? Because it’s used raw hops. Hops are dried after harvesting in general to making beer. But KIRIN quick-freezes raw and aquose hops that are harvested in summer. The quick-freeze hops are filled with the aroma of like freshly fruits and green grasses. The beer made of the raw hops smells fruity and floral. It’ no longer feel like you are enjoying the beer in a flower garden or fruit farm!
