Many kinds of gummies are very popular in past few years in Japan.
Gummy in Japan
There are huge kinds of gummies in Japan. One of them is covered in sour powder, one is extremely see-through like water, one is quite tough, one is shaped like 4D, one is teared like a string cheese and more and more.
TOUGH GUMMY from Kabaya
A firm textured gummy has been popular these days in Japan. I am going to share “TOUGH GUMMY タフグミ” from Kabaya here.
TOUGH GUMMY is covered in sour powder so that a stimulating flavor immediately comes into your mouth when you have one bite. The most featured point of this gummy is the texture. It’s so tough. The famous tough gummy “Gummy bear” is tough but “TOUGH GUMMY”‘s texture is different. It’s hard to bite and it’s so chewy!! Even though you try to squash it with your fingers, it doesn’t seem to be collapsed.
And there are two kinds of flavor in it. One of them is green kiwi taste and another is golden kiwi taste. They have cube shapes and they are a bit big for a gummy. People say it’s good to eat a tough gummy when you want to concentrate to something.
Summary
Japanese gummies are little different from the famous gummy bare or Trolli. They have a strong fruit flavor. Let’s check it out when you go Japanese supermarkets or convenience stores!
