Have you heard abut washlet? In Japan we have unique toilet compare to other country’s toilets. But it’s very common and almost every toilet has washlet in Japan.
Washlet is a toilet that rinses your bottom automatically with warm water just to push the button without getting your hand dirty. You will feel refresh after being washed with warm water like taking a shower.

You will find some buttons in the wash room in Japan like the picture above. These are the buttons for “Washlet”. You can find them in the home washroom or toilet at the restaurant and the mall.
These buttons for washing your bottom after relieving yourself at the washroom while you stay seated. After using Washlet, some people wipe their bottoms by the toilet paper.
