It’s very cold recently in Japan.
When it’s cold, what do you wear or put on your body? Are they a coat? a gloves? a hat?
Of course they are and we take hand warmer in a pocket as well in Japan.
My daughter puts a heat pad in a glove or her trousers pocket, and puts the warmer on her cheek along the way to school.
Do you use a hand warmer usually? It’s quite cold in Japan’s winter and it supposed to be really cold in this winter in Japan. I absolutely need a heat pad this year.
I am going to share you “Kiribai Kairo 桐灰 カイロ” today.

There are many kinds of hand warmers in Japan like a small size, a big size and a pasting type on clothes.
They are individual packaging and it starts to heat little by little after opening and lightly shaken for several times. This small size heat warmer keeps warm for 12 hours and the maximum temperature is 69℃, the mean temperature is 50℃.
The other big size heat pad keeps warm for 24 hours. In addition you can attach on your clothes like back or stomach if the hand warmer is pasting type and they never fall down or slip down. Do not forget putting it on your clothes because you will get burned if you put it on your body directly.
Many Japanese people dress up if it’s very cold, I don’t do that though.. hahaha
Many Japanese women wear pumps, stilettos or high heels when they go out or go work even if it’s in cold winter so they put the heat warmers in their shoes in secret.
As I shared today here, it’s quite cold in Japan’s winter and it exists the fabulous hand warmers you can keep warm! When you visit Japan, you can try it!
See you next time!
